What are the dimensions of a dumpster?

Dumpster rentals are measured by cubic yard.  To determine the cubic yard of a dumpster, we need to multiply Length x Width x Height.  Once we have the total of Length x Width x Height, you divide by 27 to get the cubic yards.

The dimensions below are the dimensions of Carmel Dumpster Rentals containers.  Different dumpster rental companies may use different dimensions based on the equipment they use.  As long as you get the same cubic yards as the dumpster you are requesting, that's what matters.

Our 10 yard dumpster dimensions are:  12'L x 7'W x 3.5'H

Our 15 yard dumpster dimensions are: 13'L x 7'W x 4.5'H

Our 20 yard dumpster dimensions are: 16'L x 7.5'W x 4.6'H

All 3 dumpster sizes can fit comfortably in a residential driveway and can be used for both residential and commercial use.
